Abuja - Cameroonian soldiers have reported that about 250 Nigerian
soldiers stationed in Banki, a Cameroonian border town with Nigeria,
have fled into the neighboring country, Saharareporters reports.
The Nigerian soldiers were said to have left their duty post and fled with their arms, first into a neighboring village called Amtide, before surrendering to their Cameroonian counterparts.
This is second time in two weeks that the Nigerian soldiers would be fleeing to Cameroon as 480 soldiers of the Nigerian army were said to have fled to Cameroon in what the military authorities later described as 'tactical manoeuvre'.
